Gary came later in life to discover his talent for watercolours, having taken up painting in 2018 on retirement from a 45 year career in agricultural consultancy.

 

He joined the Coffs Harbour Community Arts Group and was tutored in watercolours by other group members including David Southgate, Peter Wiseman and Jan Williams.

He still feels that there’s lots to learn about his chosen medium and you can gauge his progress through the images displayed on this website.

Prints of his work already adorn houses throughout Australia, New Zealand, England, USA Sweden, Japan and China.
