My name is Gary Hutchinson. I’m a watercolor artist painting landscapes and scenes from places throughout Australia and New Zealand. I’d like to introduce my art to you.

INTRODUCING MY ART JOURNEY
My personal art journey is only recent; I challenged myself at retirement to learn to paint in water colors, having never wielded a paintbrush seriously before then. The challenge of the medium has kept me alive to the learning process that guides my course.
My paintings have quickly developed a style and quality which seems to appeal to the memories and reflections of people who have themselves experienced many of the landscapes, scenes and activities portrayed in my paintings on their own track through life.

Who is Gary Hutchinson?
Gary Kernick Hutchinson is a Watercolour artist most recognised for his vibrant and detailed watercolour artwork.
Gary came later in life to discover his talent for watercolours, having taken up painting in 2018 on retirement from a 45 year career in agricultural consultancy. He’d never picked up a brush seriously before then but quickly developed a talent and skills in his chosen medium of watercolours.
He still feels that there’s still lots to learn about his chosen medium and you can gauge his progress through the images displayed on this website.

Gary also enjoys marketing his work to discerning art lovers throughout the World. Prints of his work already adorn homes throughout Australia, New Zealand, England, USA Sweden, Japan and China.
